Meddins SDI-29 M is a universal periosteal elevator with a massive, double-sided working part, combining width and stability. The right side is 4.5 mm wide and 1.8 mm thick, and the left side is 8.3 mm and 2.3 mm thick. It is intended for complete and controlled preparation of the periosteum and soft tissues in a wide range of surgical and implantological procedures.
Used in bone exposure, lateral sinus surgery and extractions when safe separation of soft tissue from underlying bone is required. The wider side is excellent for smooth lifting, while the narrower side provides access in confined spaces.
It is made of chrome-alloyed medical stainless steel, resistant to pressure, bending and autoclaving. The ergonomic handle allows a stable grip and control during movement, even during prolonged work.
