Meddins SDI-29 B is a double-sided Buser-type surgical retractor, designed for effective and controlled detachment of the periosteum from the bone surface in various types of oral surgical and implantological procedures.
The right working part is 4.3 mm wide and 1 mm thick, with a characteristic diamond shape and a sharp tip for precise initial penetration between the periosteum and the bone.
The left side has a softer curve, 4 mm wide and 1.4 mm thick, ideal for even and atraumatic peeling of larger surfaces.
Thanks to its combined design, the instrument allows both delicate initial access and aggressive dissection when necessary. It is used in flap elevation, sinus surgery, osteoplasty and other procedures.
Made of chrome-alloyed medical stainless steel, the instrument provides resistance to deformation, long-lasting sharpness and compatibility with multiple sterilization. The ergonomic handle with balanced weight guarantees control and comfort during every manipulation.
