Meddins SDI-29/04 is a combined periosteal instrument with different working ends, intended for stepwise preparation of the periosteum in bone and implantology procedures. The right side has a wider, slightly beveled tip (3.8 mm / 0.8 mm), while the left side is narrower and finer (2.3 mm / 0.7 mm).
The wide end is used to spread and peel the periosteum over larger surfaces, while the narrow side is used to access narrow anatomical spaces or around bone defects. The balanced design makes the instrument a flexible choice for a variety of clinical situations.
Made of durable chrome-alloyed medical steel, the instrument is suitable for repeated autoclaving. The handle is ergonomically designed, with a stable ridge for a secure grip when working in the surgical field.
