Meddins SDI-29/01 is a type 1 surgical rasp, with a double-sided, extremely fine working part, designed for atraumatic lifting of the periosteum in interventions requiring gentle detachment of tissues from the bone surface.
The wide side measures 7 mm / 0.3 mm, suitable for peeling large areas with minimal pressure.
The narrower side is 4.5 mm / 0.3 mm wide, and is used in more precise areas with limited access.
The extremely thin thickness of 0.3 mm on both sides allows for even gliding under the periosteum with minimal risk of tearing or tissue damage. It is recommended for cases where the most gentle technique is required – e.g. when working in the aesthetic area, around implants or when lifting thin mucoperiosteal flaps.
Made of high-quality medical stainless steel, resistant to repeated autoclaving. The smooth, clean handle provides ease of movement and stable control in any direction of pressure.
